Thanks for the nice and helpful comment! I am trying to wait patiently for my new camera - but it is KILLING me! In the meantime I have read everything there is to read. Once I have it in my hands I'll to read it all again to apply it.

Yep. On the last day of our stay, the wind got up. Through the night we could hear it just gently pushing through small gaps in the building. In the morning, the only sign of it was this confetti-like blossom in drifts at the edges of the pathways. Not having lived among olive trees, it hadn't occurred to me that they had blossom and hence the photos. It was one of the most charming sights of the trip.
